Pakistan retained its title of Asian Champion in Ju-Jitsu by winning Gold in Duo System

The 2nd Asian Ju-Jitsu and Belt Wrestling Championship, 2008 concluded successfully in Bishkek-Kyrgyzstan on 25th March, 2008. More than 17 countries participated in 04 days event which was witnessed by the prominent sports leaders of the world including the UNESCO officials as well as a large number of local sports lovers.

National Training Camp for Ju-Jitsu Martial Arts (Sports)

The national Training camp for Ju-Jitsu Martial Arts commenced from 1-08-2008 at Sports Hall of Government Girls College Wahdat Colony Lahore. The Inaugural ceremony was held on 11 AM and Minister IT& C&W Government of Punjab, Mr.Mubasher Lucman was the chief Guest along with many other sports dignatories.

OCA and AJJBWF to promote peace in Asia

LAHORE: The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) will offer all its support and even financial help to the Asian Ju-Jitsu Belt Wrestling Federation (AJJBWF) for promoting peace in Asia through the AJJBWF’s peace project ‘Play for Peace’, stated OCA president Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahad Al-Sabah during a meeting with AJJBWF’s delegation headed by its president Khalil Ahmed Khan in Kuwait.

VISIT TO OLYMPIC COUNCIL OF ASIA

President PJJF Khalil Ahmed Khan who is also a President of AJJBWF( Asian Governing Body of Ju-Jitsu & Belt Wrestling Sports) met the President OCA H.E. Sheikh Ahmed Al Fahad Al Sabah during his visit to Kuwait. The President OCA has shown his keen interest in the on going project of PJJF & AJJBWF.i.e. "PLAY FOR PEACE". The Students of Ju-Jitsu in Asia and particularly in Pakistan would be pleased to know this news that Ju-Jitsu Sport has been officially included by the OCA in the forhtcoming 1st Asian Martail Arts Games to be held in October 2008 at Bali-Indonesia.
